The pavilion

Sukhavati Retreat is consist of 6 bedroom in 6 separate pavilion, 1 building for living room, dining room and library room, 1 building for kitchen, 1 building for daybed (or massage room), 1 special building for yoga, 1 another building for gallery and jacuzzy.
The bedroom categorized into 2 luxury villas with private pools and secluded escapes, 3 deluxe villas with landscaped outdoor bathrooms, and 1 standard villa with indoor batroom. All villas contain hot and cold water, air conditioning, TV, DVD, CD player, room safes and minibar.

All compound of the retreat could accommodate 14 people (6 villas with king-sized double beds and two extra single beds).

Pools

There are 3 swimming pools in the compound: 1 main swimming pool and 2 smaller ‘cool’ pools situated in the luxury villas Amitabha and Maitreya.

Entertainment Pavilion

Luxurious furnished communal lounging area equipped with large flat-screen TV, DVD and CD stereo system. Also contains a library equipped with 200-plus DVD’s, books, magazines and games for guests to enjoy.

Yoga and Meditation Pavilion

The retreat’s purpose-built open-air pavilion is equipped with yoga mats, straps and other exercise equipment. Also contains a sound system so that students may listen to ambient music during classes.

Spa and Massage

Full range of exotic on-site spa services available through Manori Spa. Sukhavati Retreat’s spa contains 2 massage tables, changing room, shower and hot-water jacuzzi.

Art Gallery

The “Buddha Fields” art gallery located on the upper level of the property, housing exquisite artworks obtained by the owner of the retreat from all over Southeast Asia (particularly Nepal and Thailand). All items are available for sale.

Other Service

Staff: 20 staff includes onsite general manager, office assistant, 4 chefs, 5 housekeepers, 1 guest relation officer, 3 security guards, and 5 gardeners.

Sport and Activities: Additional recreation facilities include mountain bikes, a badminton court and table tennis.

Communication: Full office facilities include IDD telephone, fax, high-speed broadband internet access and intercom system. Mobile phones with local sim-cards are also available upon request. Charges apply to each of these facilities.

Food and Baverage: An hotel and restaurant standard with an easy to follow system of set menus and buffets, and set meal times. Complimentary ’sunrise’ breakfast is included with nightly rate (additional breakfast menu items available at extra charge). Vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets fully catered for. Alcohol not stocked on premises but transport to local liquor store available upon request.

Laundry: Full daily laundry and dry-cleaning available at an additional surcharge.
Interest facts: Situated on the middle of level of the retreat is one of the LARGEST carvings of a stone Budha head in Southeast Asia.

The retreat has a thriving fruit and flower garden project on the top level of the property.
Sukhavati Retreat is a GREEN property and employs environtmentally conscious waste disposal methods and uses chemical free bathroom and spa products.

Location

Sukhavati Retreat is located in the small Hindu village of Bebengan (north-west part of Canggu area) and lies on a multi-level topography of land. More than a hectare in size, the property is bordered by tropical jungle and the Penet river. Beautiful Mt. Batukaru is clearly visible from the top level of the retreat.
