Seminyak is a further extension of Legian village reaching towards the suburbs and is abundant in antique and designer boutiques with many eating establishments of European and Western cuisine.
A cosmopolitan mix and is home to hundreds of expats involved in commerce of one sort or another. Seminyak runs from the daytime trendy Blue Ocean Boulevard across Double Six Road to the restaurants and bars of Dhyana Pura Street.
Tourist accommodation is not really fine than in the previous areas but you'll find good standard hotels, interesting food and sophisticated shopping and nightlife spots.
Located at north of Kuta and Legian, Seminyak is a busy centre of Europeans, offering a glimpse of the island's growing reputation as a stop on the international jet-set circuit. Seminyak features some of the most beautiful new resorts, villas and restaurants. Along this stretch of surf beach, Bali's fashionable crowd lives, shops, eats and parties. Its extravagant private villas, spacious restaurants and up market hotels, make function organizers look to this area for inspiration. It is only a 15 minutes drive from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The A Bar
One of Bali's most popular cocktail bars with the thirty-something crowd. Cool music and some of the best cocktails on the island. Located at Jalan Dhyana Pura
The Bottle Shop
For those Anglophiles and Aussies who miss the local pub, you'll find a good drinking crowd here almost anytime but especially around 5 pm when the coldest beers in town go down a treat. Great pub food, televised sporting events. 9 am until midnight. Located at Jalan Kunti, Seminyak
Double Six
The original and still the busiest club on the island. Thousands of people pack in nightly to hear the latest techno dance music and look cool at various bars. Good late night pizzas. On the beach, open late. Located at Jalan Double Six.
Santa Fe
Is a good anytime but they open very late, have a small bar but loads of tables to have a drink, snack or something Mexican and just soak up the atmosphere. New music bar out back. Located at Jalan Dhyana Pura. |
